PDL Marine's steel workboats are designed to be the workhorse of the sea. Built to withstand tough environments, and with extremely versatile and impressive cargo carrying capacity, all our workboats can be adapted to suit your specific requirements.

The landing craft can vary dramatically depending on your requirements, whether it be a cot vessel for moving livestock to a nearby island, transporting supplies to feed barges in aquaculture or ferrying vehicles across lochs or fiords we can help. Perhaps have an amphibian landing craft that can quite simply drive out of the water so no need to get wet at all. Our landing craft range from 7m to 24m in both Steel or Aluminium.

The landing craft utility is exactly that. The vessels can carry a wide range of equipment, whether it be using it as a small ferry or carrying huge loads in the aquaculture industry, the LCU is an ideal vessel for use on slipways and beaches and is very robust.

12m AMPHIBIAN

PDL is proud to present our customer's Mandopigen's 12m new Amphibious landing craft. With some great design skills and engineering, the 12m Amphibian really is a unique vessel. The predecessor to the 15m variant, it still has a good deck carrying capability in wheeled and 'float mode' and the ability to cover most terrains despite the tide status. Fitted with a wide array of equipment, this vessel is suitable for a multitude of tasks such a cable and buoy maintenance, harbour works and support, survey work and dive support.

The vessel can also be fitted with seating for up to 14 personnel and has sufficient speed to operate as a crew transfer vessel. Capable of using inboard or outboards the vessel is able to reach speeds up to 26 knots. The vessel is built to MCA category 2 / 3 standards. Optional equipment includes: Deck winches, Capstans, Accommodation, Galley and Heads.

16m MAXI LANDING CRAFT

The all new 16m Maxi Landing craft is designed to carry larger and wider loads such as containers, net washing gear a perfect solution a wide variety of industries such as Commercial work, Marine civil engineering, Aquaculture, Harbour maintenance and dive support to name but a few.

Capable of carrying at least 30 tons on deck with a wide variety of options such as twin cranes, tugger winches, capstans, fuel transfer facilities and additional holding tanks makes this vessel very capable and can be built to fit your specific tasks. Finance and leasing can be offered on this vessel.

15m AMPHIBIAN LANDING CRAFT

15m Amphibian landing craft is an amazing piece of engineering. Large deck carrying capability in wheeled and 'float mode' and the ability to cover most terrains despite the tide status. Fitted with a wide array of equipment, this vessel is suitable for a multitude of tasks such a cable and buoy maintenance, harbour works and support, survey work and dive support.

The vessel can also be fitted with seating for up to 20 personnel and has sufficient speed to operate as a crew transfer vessel. Capable of using inboard or outboards the vessel is able to reach speeds up to 30 knots. The vessel is built to MCA category 2 / 3 standards. Additional Information: Suspension seating for crew and passengers, Generator, galley and heads, accommodation if required, crew seating area. Deck load 7t on wheels.

14m MAXI LANDING CRAFT

PDL Marine are proud to present our latest 14m Multi-Purpose Landing craft. Designed to be able to take loads up to 8 tonnes. A shallow draft landing craft with a double folding ramp to allow access to some of the more difficult approaches makes it a perfect light weight landing craft. This vessel is suitable for a multitude of tasks and fits in well with the likes of logistical support, aquaculture and marine civils.

The vessel can be fitted with twin 300hp diesel outboards, tripple 200hp diesel outboards or internal engines including jet drives if required. The design ensures the vessel has plenty of capability to operate under a full load of 8 tonnes as well as the ability to carry up to 8 passengers. The vessel is built to MCA category 3 standards and be built to class if required.

10m LANDING CRAFT

PDL Marine are proud to present the 10m Multi-Purpose Landing craft as part of aluminium LC range from 6m to 16m. A shallow draft Landing craft, this vessel is suitable for a multitude of tasks such as a small ferry, aquaculture maintenance and support, survey work and dive support. This vessel is a designed to provide a small but quick vessel capable of speeds up to and in excess of 30 knots.

Fitted with twin diesel outboards up to 200hp or can be fitted with petrol outboards or internal engines if required. Engines are also available in the 'Partners in Power' scheme. The vessel is built to MCA category 3 standards and can carry up to 12 passengers plus 2 crew or a 1000kg cargo. Seats are removable and deck space has been well thought our with plenty of storage for liferafts, fenders and other equipment. The vessel can also be fitted with a small Hiab.

8m LANDING CRAFT

PDL Marine are proud to present their latest LC800 Landing craft. The LC800 is an extremely versatile vessel, being compact, it can operate in a wide range of activities and locations. Coded to MCA cat 3, the vessel can operate up to 20nm from a safe haven. Available with or without a cabin and capable of speeds up to 30 knots it really is impressive, together with suspension seating for crew and passengers.

The latest designs and innovation for pilot vessels has seen a lot of change and improvements over the last few years and this model is no exception. The hull shape is ideal for heavy swell and also helps with fuel savings due to the sleek lines and bow. Models of this vessel range from 14 to 18m and can be adjusted to suit your requirements. All the pilot boats have guard or 'steady' rails with Hadrians Rails fitted along the sides and bow of the launches.

PDL Marine is proud to present the high speed pilot boat, a hydro dynamic efficient vessel. The range is available from 14m all the way to 22m as a pilot cutter or Self-righting search and rescue vessel and can also serve as a ballistic plated patrol boat. A remarkable craft with a wide array of options, seating can range from 6 to 14 with extreme fuel efficient and a smooth ride. Fitted with twin Caterpillar C18's engines helping to push the vessel to 30 knots, but the vessel can do more if required, other engines are available including jet drives. The vessel is built to MCA cat 2/3 standards and also to class (Bureau Veritas). Other equipment and options includes but not limited to: Self Righting, Ballistic plating (Patrol variant), Hydraulic MOB transom / recovery system, Accommodation and Galley available.

Patrol boats can vary so much dependant on the task required, whether it be patrolling a small harbour as a support vessel or working in potentially hostile areas and in harms way we can provide you with the ideal vessel, from a 5m open boat to a 24m fully armour plated craft capable of 35 knots plus.

18m PATROL BOAT

The new PB18 is one of the latest custom designs to be added to our portfolio. An 18-metre welded aluminium patrol boat designed for the coast guard but can be adapted to suit other military and law enforcement agencies as well as general patrol and observational duties. Ballistic protection is also available. The vessel sports twin 1000HP Caterpillar C18' diesel coupled with Arneson Surface drives for the ultimate in high speed manoeuvres and stealth. Other drives and engines are available. Accommodation is for a crew of six and 6 passengers. Lloyds structural compliance (Scantlings)

15 METRE CATAMARAN WORKBOAT

A relatively lightweight workboat capable of carrying good cargo loads and getting you to where you need to go quickly if required. Originally designed byRoger Hill in New Zealand who has a reputation for making extremely effective catamarans. This vessel can come fitted with waterjets or standard propellers. This 15m design is multi purpose work boat, suitable as a passenger vessel, a marine engineering platform, survey work, a crew boat, offshore support vessel, ect.

PDL Marine have a wide selection of RIBs, harbour patrol vessels and line handlers. Whether your RIB is for leisure or work we can ensure you receive the correct vessel for your task. The RIB shown here is a 9.9m high speed performance vessel, it can be built with a luxury interior or be fitted with ballistic plating and weapons mounted. Alternatively perhaps a 12m RIB is more to your liking, again leisure or crew transfer the choice is yours. Our RIBs vary from 5.5m to 14m

Our open harbour boats are ideal for working around ports or habours either in leisure or work mode, the vessel will be completed to your specific choice. Maybe fitted with towing posts for work or water skiing, or occasionally both. Line handling boats can vary dramatically; our range of line handlers range from 6m through to 12m and can be built in steel or aluminium if required.
